We are looking for a talented Business Consultant to join our growing team and working directly with senior management at large retail banks, as a consultant in the lending or credit cards space. The Business Consultant will help clients diagnose and quantify potential improvements in the areas of pricing, product management and operational effectiveness. The Business Consultant will then support delivery of price-optimization and forecasting software and consulting services. We are looking for an exceptional individual who can interact directly with the highest levels of the customer, lead and manage engagements and help grow a scalable services practice. This is a chance to play a critical role in a rapidly expanding company. Ideally the role would be located in Toronto, Canada but we are open to other locations in North America.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and deliver consulting engagements for retail banks in the areas of pricing, product management and operational effectiveness
  • Deliver diagnostic engagements to scope out improvement in clients pricing or product portfolios
  • Develop business cases and deployment plans
  • Lead and deliver client engagements to deploy a variety portfolio of software and services solutions
  • Develop reusable materials and processes to codify learnings and build a practice

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in strategic consulting or consulting to retail banks required
  • 3+ years financial services industry experience especially in credit cards, lending or deposits required
  • Experience deploying enterprise software preferred
  • Experience in pricing or optimization preferred
  • Great problem solving abilities
  • Great communication and presentation skills
  • Experience supervising or leading projects and teams
  • Intellectual curiosity and a passion for solving clients' business issues
  • Experience with change management and process development
  • BS or higher in Business, Finance or other quantitative fields such as Math, Statistics, Operations Research, etc. MBA preferred
