We're looking for a motivated Senior Modeling Analyst to join our talented San Bruno, CA, team and help drive continued development and growth of Nomis Score.

Responsibilities:

• Lead efforts to develop, maintain and enhance the Nomis Score to ensure model robustness over time and across application
• Lead client facing score validation projects that clearly demonstrate the business value the Nomis Score can provide to the user, ensure project timelines are met, engage frequently with client to ensure expectations are set correctly and exceed client expectations
• Recommend ideas to substantially enhance model robustness (new data sources, new analytic techniques, enhanced model form recommendations), create plan to incorporate these enhancements, lead effort to enact plan
• Package research and client score findings into market facing communications that showcase our value and entice prospects to purchase solutions. Present findings internally as well as to external facing entities
• Interact closely with other groups to understand other solution offerings and generate ideas for how Nomis Score could be integrated into these other offerings and how the incremental benefit can be quantified
• Continually assess current score development and validation processes/procedures and make recommendations for areas of improvement and take leadership role to drive these improvement opportunities
• Manage direct reports as needed by setting targeted objectives, providing direction and feedback on frequent basis, helping to set work load priorities

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong analytical problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability in solving complex business problems and "outside the box thinking" leveraging advanced analytics
• Strong understanding of P&L for financial services industry
• 5+ years of analytic/predictive modeling (with focus on demand or price elasticity modeling) experience in financial industry
• B.S. in a quantitative field such as applied mathematics, economics, operations research, or management science mandatory - Masters or Ph D preferred
• Previous experience in consumer banking (preferably in Marketing) with working knowledge of US and International Credit Bureau data is highly desirable
• Strong SAS and Excel knowledge
