We are looking for a talented Business Consultant to join our growing San Bruno, California based team.
Responsibilities:
As a key member of the Nomis Solutions Professional Services team, the Business Consultant will work closely with Nomis customers in ensuring Nomis' software solutions meets their needs. As part of a project team under direction of a Nomis Project Manager, the Business Consultant will gain an understanding of the customer's business processes surrounding product pricing and how that could change with the introduction of a price optimization solution.
Responsibilities include:
- Upgrade the product to the next maintenance release
- Map customer business requirements to Nomis product functionality
- Act as the representative of the customer within the Nomis project team in assisting with solution configuration
and testing - Train the customer on use of Nomis' price optimization systems
- Assist the customer with acceptance testing (UAT) of the system
- Assist the customer with rollout of the system
Qualifications/Requirements:
- BS or higher in Business, Finance or other quantitative fields such as Math, Statistics, Operations Research, etc.
is required - 2+ years experience in banking / consumer finance, especially in lending or deposit products is required
- Strong communication and presentation skills are required
- Understanding of financial / profit models is preferred
- Understanding of optimization concepts is preferred
