We are looking for a talented Implementation Consultant to join our growing San Bruno, California based team.
Responsibilities:
As a member of Nomis Solutions' Professional Services team, the Implementation Consultant will be responsible for installing and configuring Nomis' decision-support software products to meet the unique needs of each customer.
The Implementation Consultant will also be responsible for defining customer-specific data interfaces to Nomis' software products, assisting customers with all necessary data manipulation and data transformation tasks.
The Implementation Consultant will work closely with the project team in delivering software solutions to customers. Under direction of a project manager, this person will collaborate with statistical analysts and business analysts to implement price-response models and financial profit models within the software and will also configure reports and graphs within the user interface. The Implementation Consultant will also work in concert with the Nomis engineering team in developing customer-specific data interfaces to the software as part of an extract-transform-load (ETL) process.
If you currently have the title of Software Analyst, Application Consultant or Solutions Consultant, this may be a great position/fit for you.
The Implementation Consultant is based at Nomis headquarters in San Bruno, California (near San Francisco), but may require some travel and work on client sites.
Qualifications:
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Math or a quantitative field such as Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, etc. is required
- At least 1+ year working with SQL, XML and Java is required
- Previous experience configuring and installing enterprise applications is required
- Experience with ETL tools and data marts or data warehousing is required
- Experience using SAS to manage large data sets is desired
- Strong problem solving skills as well as the ability to communicate business insights is required
- Ability to work in a high-energy start-up environment is required
- Strong communication and team work skills are required
- An understanding of statistical and financial models is desired
