We are looking for a talented Senior Account Director to join our North American Sales team.
Responsibilities:The Nomis Senior Account Director will be responsible for driving a strategic sales initiative to sell a large Enterprise wide License whilst ensuring customer satisfaction on existing projects at two of our Strategic Accounts – RBC and BMO – this will require the person to lead all upsell and cross sell sales efforts within these accounts, managing the sales cycle, proposal and contract negotiation, to deal closure. Goals will be established by the VP of Sales while delivering the highest standard of integrity, quality, and customer service to our clients. Key requirements for this position include:
- Knowledge of the Canadian marketplace, especially retail Banking products and services & knowledge of and experience working with RBC and/or BMO
- Establish, manage and maintain relationships between Nomis and senior executives at RBC and BMO
- Make sales presentations to the Senior leaders of the Bank in a variety of departments (such as P&L management, risk management, IT, marketing and operations); addressing the value proposition of a wider strategic relationship with Nomis
- Well established consultative selling skills
- Understanding of analytics
- Strategic planning skills
- Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
- Strong negotiation skills
- In collaboration with Nomis' marketing team, develop and execute specific targeted events or campaigns to get mindshare for Nomis's proposal
- Coordinate and actively participate in contract negotiations
- Act as representative of Nomis at Canadian Banking forums
- Maintain a real-time understanding of the competitive landscape to assist in determining win based proposals and pricing
Experience/Qualifications:
- BA/BS required, advanced degree preferred (concentration in one of the following; Business/Economics, Communications, Marketing, or in a technical areas such as Operations Research, Computer Science , etc.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years successful sales experience in Financial Services, involving sales or consulting of analytic or credit and risk software products
- Proven success in identifying new business opportunities and in selling large integrated solutions to C level audiences.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding annual quotas of $5M+ or of selling multi million dollar consulting engagements
- Demonstrated successful proposal development and presentation skills to include strong oral and written communication skills
- Possess strong problem solving skills and have successful history of "thinking on your feet"
- Demonstrated initiative, individual motivation and the drive to lead sales initiatives from start to finish
- Successful candidates will demonstrate a history of solid sales or consulting success with previous employers (top 10 – 20% of peer group)
