Nomis Solutions Named as Finalist at Mortgage Strategy Awards 2016

Nomis Solutions has been shortlisted for the Mortgage Strategy Awards (MSA), an awards program organized by a prominent consortium of UK financial institutions including Barclays, Santander, Halifax, and United Trust Bank under the category ‘Best Technology Provider’, a category focused on innovation and results-driving technology. The Mortgage Strategy Awards are the only awards in the UK mortgage market designed to recognize lenders, brokers, and technology providers for finding innovative ways to address current economic challenges. The Mortgage Strategy Awards were first presented in 2002, and receive thousands of nominations each year.

A total of 27 judges from top financial institutions examined the applications over several review rounds, agreeing on 5 category finalists. The winner will be announced at a dinner awards ceremony with an audience of over 800 senior UK bankers on Wednesday 17th February 2016 at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.

Nomis has been recognized specifically for its complete suite of solutions for mortgage lenders which helps identify target segments and set optimal product and pricing strategies for mortgage portfolios through detailed segmentation analysis and a market-leading forecasting capability. This platform distinguishes the key influencing factors behind customer behavior to deliver demonstrable fact-based results.

“The UK Mortgage market is facing a big shift. Lenders are facing three key issues including financial pressure, increasing regulation, and a government focus on customer satisfaction. Nomis deploys a suite of mortgage solutions in the UK and abroad that specifically helps lenders better understand their customers and their behaviors through advanced analytics and price sensitivity analysis,” said Damian Young, Managing Director, EMEA at Nomis Solutions. “We are honored to be recognized as a finalist for the Mortgage Strategy Awards. This is a clear acknowledgment from our peers and customers of the significant value we are delivering. Regardless of the final outcome, it is rewarding to highlight this value in this public forum so that other banks can learn about and consider this approach to gaining significant competitive and market advantage.”
