Nomis Solutions Wins Top Honours at the 2016 UK FinTech Innovation Awards

Nomis Takes Home the ‘Innovation in Data Solutions’ Award For Its Original Use of Data Science

London, UK. 14th April 2016 – Leading offer and price optimisation company Nomis Solutions has been named the winner in the ‘Innovation in Data Solutions’ category at the FinTech Innovations Awards 2016. The judges were impressed by the depth of customer understanding that Nomis brings to retail banks and the impact it has on bottom line profitability.

The FinTech Innovation Awards brings together over 700 FinTech specialists to celebrate the greatest achievements from within the global financial and payments technology industries in the UK. This year’s award ceremony was attended by brands including Google, Barclays, HSBC, Goldman Sachs, Bloomberg and many others from across the FinTech space.

Nomis faced tough competition in its category from Vizor Software, Datactics and PwC, among others. However, the sixteen judges, comprised of leading authorities from across the FinTech sector, selected Nomis as the standout entry, recognising the company for its original use of data science in finance. Specifically, Nomis’ practical application in protecting and expanding banks’ market share in a highly competitive arena was integral to the award win.

Nomis’ products allow banks to collate customer information onto single big data platforms, which calculate an optimum price for any given product, specific to each customer. This approach enhances loyalty through enhanced customer satisfaction, while increasing profitability.

“We are delighted to be recognised for ‘Innovation in Data Solutions’ at the FinTech Innovation Awards 2016,” said Damian Young, Managing Director, EMEA at Nomis Solutions. “In a shifting UK market, our range of price optimisation products are helping banks to better understand their customers’ behaviours and sensitivities through advanced analytics and analysis. This brings banks significant competitive and market advantage that will help them grow smartly and responsibly in any economic environment.”
